School Policies
Notice to students regarding school policies and
course requirements.

The Westchester County Board of REALTORS®, School of Real Estate (WCBR) is
approved by the New York State Division of Licensing to offer a variety of approved
education programs. WCBR is located at 60 So. Broadway, White Plains, NY 10601

Real Estate Pre-Licensing course and In-house Continuing Education
course offerings require pre-registration. The registration form(s) can be downloaded
from the appropriate links. On-Line Computer CE course(s) allow one to
register online.

Each Real Estate Pre-Licensing and In-House Continuing Education
course is presented by New York State Department of State approved instructors.
Faculty is selected for their expertise and ability to communicate that expertise
in a classroom setting.
On-Line Computer CE courses do not have a live instructor. Questions can
be answered by e-mail. eileen.taus@wcbr.net

To complete your course and receive a Certificate of Completion, you must:
- Attend a minimum of 67.5 hours of the 75-hour program (90%);
- Sign-in and sign-out at each session; and
- Pass the school exam
- Attend 90% of the course;
- Sign-in and sign-out at each session; and
- Provide a copy of your state license number

- Complete all lessons on the computer by answering each question correctly
at least twice. Most questions are timed and need to be answered within
the prescribed time;
- E-mail your Certification Statement to WCBR;
- If required, pass any course final examination; and
- Complete all course work within 180 days of the enrollment date.

WCBR will maintain for a period of 5 years the following information in each student
record: the students name, address, state registration number, course title and
date of enrollment and completion.

Real Estate Pre-Licensing, Continuing Education, and non-credit seminar programs
can only be cancelled in writing before the first class session. On-Line Computer
CE -- generally there are no refunds for the distance learning programs; but refund requests will be considered on a case by case basis.
